Acuerdo sobre el Establecimiento de la red Internacional del Bambú y el Ratán
Artículo 20. Firma y adhesión
1. Este Acuerdo estará abierto para su firma en Beijing a partir del día 6 del mes de noviembre de 1997, y permanecerá abierto para su firma por un período de dos años a partir de esa fecha.
2. Después de la expiración del período especificado en el párrafo 1, este Acuerdo permanecerá abierto a la adhesión de cualquier Estado que cumpla con los requisitos estipulados en el Artículo 4, sujeto esto a la aprobación previa del Consejo por simple mayoría.
3. Los instrumentos de adhesión se entregarán al Depositario de este acuerdo.
4. El Gobierno de la República Popular China será el Depositario de este Acuerdo.
5. El Depositario mantendrá un registro de las firmas y adhesiones, y las comunicará a todas las Partes de este Acuerdo. Asimismo, registrará este Acuerdo con el Secretariado de las Naciones Unidas de conformidad con el Artículo 102 de la Carta de las Naciones Unidas.

The Department of Treaty and Law of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People”s Republic of China presents its compliments to the International Network of Bamboo and Rattan (INBAR). And in response to the latter”s request in its Note No.08-S-008 dated Jan. 29, 2008, the Department would like to communicate, acting in its capacity as depositary of the Agreement on the Establishment of the International Network for Bamboo and Rattan (the Agreement), to INBAR a certif ed copy of the Agreement as amended, in Chinese, English, French and Spanish languages, all being equally authentic.
The Department of Treaty and Law of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People”s Republic of China avails itself of this opportunity to renew to the International Network of Bamboo and Rattan the assurances of its highest consideration.
